People of the Milky Way Galaxy

You may consider us "aliens,"
but we're really just people like you.

bea.png

You can be sure we're people because when we stub our toes on a chair leg, we do a one-footed hopping dance and say, "Ow, ow, ow," until it stops hurting just like *everyone else.

You can be sure we're people because when we become a great success, we exploit others beneath us and abuse our power.

See? We're the same!

*Takari Fulkert, the Death hawk, is perhaps excluded from this assertion... And we're still deliberating whether he can be classified in the category "everyone else" for any reason at any time anyway. You can read about him in Jensine's Serial Fiction series, "My Cup of Tea," once it's translated.

People like us come in thousands of varieties from several different planets. Currently, there are 18 known people-groups in the Milky Way. 17 of these races produce biological Omyn and are called Omeings.

And... well, humans are the only race incapable of producing Omyn.

We call you Taomuy.

Scientists speculate there may be other races of Taomuy on planets not yet discovered, but this idea is more philosophical than scientific.

So you Earthlings aren't really "the same" as the rest of us people, but you're people too, and we accept you despite your shortcomings!

(And mutations, and disgusting diseases, and bad manners, and gross eating habits, and overwhelming stench - literal and metaphorical.)

I guess we accept you as long as you're on Earth, far far away on the other side of the sun where we can't smell you.

You might be thinking just about now:

"What's the difference between us? What's all this Omyn stuff got to do with anything?"

...

...

...

...

...

...

everything.

Omyn has to do with everything.

Because of Omyn, Non-humans can do cool stuff, and we live longer. My colleagues who are much smarter than I am will demonstrate these vast differences using fancy charts and graphs below.

The following information is composed of generalities which illustrate the intrinsic differences between humans and Omeings. These generalities do not necessarily reflect the intricate differences between individuals and particular people-groups.

As you can see, omeings live
much longer than humans.

At least, most of us. We must exclude our dear Senfamin, because they live an extremely long, fulfilling life if they're on their own planets, but they can't live long on Erbede or Earth. This condition is called, "The Senfamin Curse," and you can read about it in Jensine's novel, "Gcallus Octevius," once it's translated into English from Erbedian and Didenki.

But wait, there's more!

Omyn also allows Omeings to do really cool things that are mostly commonplace to us but would destroy your reality.

We know this because there are actual Humans living on Erbede (You people are like roaches. You just exist in all the disgusting crannies of the world.) and when our actual Humans are confronted with a group of actual Omeings, bad things happen. Where there are differences, there are prejudices - on both sides, let me tell you.

These "cool" things Omyn allows us to do are too lengthy and involved for this section. If you want to know more, you can read about Omyn another time, or you can read about each individual people-group in the following section.

I'll give a quick overview:

  • Wings for Omeings with Finomuy;
  • elemental manipulation for Omeings of Arlomin descent;
  • perfect eyesight and heightened intellect in Omeings of Senfamin Descent;
  • an existence outside of natural matter for Insashal or Lishadin;
  • Nimvs with the ability to control the neurotransmitters in another organism;

and so on and so forth.

These examples comprise only the surface of Omyn's capabilities, as it has as many variations as the natural elements on the Earthling periodic table.

This is due to the fact that Omyn is, in fact, a type of atom.

You can read more about Omyn here.

Interplanetary Peoples Directory

Omynologists have identified 18 distinct people groups spanning the 5 inhabitable planets. These races are divided into 4 classes.

Jofas Lorense described the classes in terms of color theory; that is, there were originally Primary Colors from which other colors were mixed. These colors mixed together to create more colors still. Once all these colors were overly mixed, muddier, mute tones were created.

The Four Race Classes:

1. Primary

2. Secondary

3. Tertiary

4. Achromatic

In other words, Dr. Jofas speculated there were original races on each planet which intermingled and reproduced, producing identifiable genetic variations over time and space. As mutations accrued, a group's genetic Omyn grew weaker.

Jofas was a genius and all, but perhaps you're like me and couldn't care two depatos about color theory.

This Ben likes to describe the race classes as if they're event fliers or non-profit brochures.

You might think I'm joking because I'm a comedian, but for once in a long time, I'm not. I've been told my photocopy theory is quite accurate as it applies to genetic mutations.

Ben's Photocopied Document Theory:

1. The original colored document

2. A high quality copy with edits

3. A low quality copy of the copy

4. An unaligned wrinkled low quality black and white copy of the copy of the original document
